Our Season 51 started already in the middle of the previous season, when we realized we cannot compete for the top spot. Although we had probably our best first half of the season, the gap to Jonas was enormous. Therefore we sacrificed the second half of the season, did not trigger any of the scheduled top forms and recharged some other riders with at least some captain abilities. With 20 top forms available, we also needed to adapt our racing calendar; therefore we came back to our excel scheduling tool which we did not need to use for many seasons. The attach for the top spot could start.
Except from our main goal we had some other hopes. We always want to grab some trophies into our show case. We also wished to complete an OCM “allround-slam” by winning at least one race in each OCM discipline.
The results:
1) Be nr. 1 – COMPLETED
The season in numbers:
Rank: 1 st
Points: 8064
Total victories: 23
Total results: 51
Number of riders riding for the team: 26
Number of riders scoring points: 21
Number of riders with at least one victory: 12
Prize money: 908,000 coins
Rider with most wins for the team: Ivan Demenok (5)
Rider with highest prize money: Ralph Pender (98,000 coins)
Rider with most points scored for the team: Corrado Giarra (820)
Lowest AV rider winning a race: 44 (Egerton Uxley)
No break away victory, result or points
2) Trophies hunt – COMPLETED, but…
It is always nice to improve our trophy collection and I would say we were partially successful here. We did well in the achievement area; by winning Hong Kong Hourrecord we completed the Perfect timing triple and we also got the Gold stage performer badge for winning 50th tour stages. After 24 seasons we also got another sprint classification jersey when Ivan Demenok won this competition in Germany Tour and completed our grand tour SC collection.
On the other hand, we had some bad luck as well; Alfred had an off day in the last stage of the Droz Cup while Tobiasz suffered an off day together with multiple mechanicals in the king stage of Vuelta. Both of them could do very well in their races. However the most annoying experience this season came from Bergen Rundtour. After many podium results we could have finally win this damned race. Stallmaier came 2nd with an off day.
We had another 2nd places in Alpe d´Huez and Antwerpen – Huy, there was no bad luck, competitors were simply stronger here.
3) “Allround-slam” – MISSED
Not sure whether any team did it in the past, at least in the top division, we will never get closer. In one season, we have won races in all main OCM disciplines; CL, SP, TT, HL and CB (yes, it was a CB TT only). In addition to that we also won some FR races. Unfortunately DH is missing. Although this discipline is out of our main focus, we made some attempts and still managed to have 2 podium results here.

Thanks!
I agree with Rustgold that Jonas team is aging but I do not think it would affect their performance in S51, but later for sure.
He would, for sure, need to replace 3 of his TTers probably soon, which is an investment of at least 1.5 but rather 2 million coins.
For CB and SP, he could still race 2 or 3 seasons with the team he has (Diamico, Hauberg, Rebosio and Bjellan
If you look at the age of Jonas's cyclists AK, they were all about to fall off the cliff. I would have liked to have seen how he would have handled that.
Great season, congratulations!
Look at the prize money...
Great season.
Awesome season
Amazing achievements, congrats!
It is very sad that Jonas has gone - that could be an epic season.
After all sincere congratulations for your lonely fight with numbers and stats;)
